Welcome to the Kathy McKay State Farm Insurance Agency. We proudly serve the counties of Phelps, Dent, Maries and beyond. Our office is located in Rolla, Missouri. We are happy to help with your auto, home, business, health and life insurance needs.

I have been an agent for 38 years and have a State Farm qualified staff with 45 plus years combined experience. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. I am a Crystal Excellence Agent Qualifier (profitable agent) for over 26 years. I am a past Red Cross Board Member, current Chamber of Commerce member and offer Notary Public services in my office. We are very active and supportive of all Community events.

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri in 1952. I was raised on a farm and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1968. I went to college in Springfield, Missouri and later worked as a paralegal for a law firm in Springfield. In 1970, I went to work for Missouri State University and worked there until 1977 when I moved to the Rolla area. Rolla has been home since that time. I started my career with State Farm in 1987 and never looked back! Two years ago, I became a pet owner to a micro mini doodle named Max. He is often spotted frequenting the office. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, vacationing, and spending time with my five grandchildren.

Our staff consists of Kayce Burleson, along with Agent Kathy McKay, we bring over 38 years combined experience serving you, our State Farm Customers.

We are often seen celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones along with silly national holidays. We have a full size Jake (from State Farm!) cutout in our office that we like to include in all our activities. Our Facebook page is full of photos of the staff, funny jokes, and info on our different insurance products.
